Restoration of Choura Council
Fire broke out on 19th of August, 2008 at Egypt's Chura Council, the upper house of the Parliament of Egypt at around 16:00 local time. The number of casualties had reached 13 by 22:30. Parts of the ceiling on the top floor collapsed due to the fire. The Egyptian Taxation building had also caught on fire. ECO scope of works was the structural design of the restoration framing systems, design of stages of demolition, and continuous construction supervision. |
